More data from the BOM. Rainfall doesn’t seem to have a long term trend like temperature and sea level. Although in the medium term it matches temperature and sea level with the El Niño – La Niña cycle.

I enjoy having these graphs, it’s so easy to think “woah this weather is so extreme” but when you look back it’s often not so out of the ordinary.

Rainfall data is taken from the Observatory Hill station in Sydney and covers from Jan 1858 to July 2020
